The Camino Real Regional Utility Authority (CRRUA) is seeking applications from residents within the City Limits of Sunland Park to fill an unexpired term on the Extra-Territorial Planning and Zoning Commission (ETZ P&Z).

The ETZ P&Z consists of a five-member board of volunteers, two of whom must reside within the City of Sunland Park, two of whom must reside within the ETZ area, and one who resides outside of those two areas.

The open seat will require that all applicants reside within the City of Sunland Park. Applications will be accepted through 5 p.m., Friday, March 27.

The ETZ P&Z assists CRRUA with the administration of the subdivision, zoning, planning and platting regulations for a 56 square mile area adjacent to and west of the City of Sunland Park.

The ETZ P&Z reviews land-use and development matters at public hearings scheduled for the first Monday of each month.
